The Timber Framers Guild is a non-profit educational membership organization dedicated to the craft of timber framing. We serve as a center of timber frame information and design for the professional and the general public.

Community Building Projects have been part of the Timber Framers Guild’s educational work for nearly four decades. Since 1988, Guild programs have resulted in more than 100 timber frame structures for communities, nonprofit organizations, municipalities, and other public-serving institutions across North America and beyond. Projects combine instruction with practical work, allowing craftspeople at different stages of experience to learn from one another while producing a permanent structure for a host community.
