For many years, Blue Deer has gathered people outdoors under a temporary seasonal tent. That tent has served the Center well, but the time has come for a lasting structure that can more fully support the sacred work of the land.
The Fire Pavilion will be a permanent ceremonial and community space where people can gather for retreats, teachings, prayer, healing, and connection in all seasons.
This project is now moving from vision into action.
Current confirmed project components include partial barn deconstruction, barn refacing, and the work of the Timber Framers Guild to build the fire pavilion. These core costs already total approximately $210,000, and the full project cost is expected to be around $250,000 once all related construction, site preparation, contingency, and completion expenses are included.
