A public memorial service with viewing of his body and connecting with each other in grief held in joy from 1-3pm @ Blue Deer.

A private gathering of traditional funerary rites in Eliot’s tradition will be led by Don David Wiley, Tsaurirrikame as the attending Shaman and Ritual Leader for this event. This portion of the ceremonies is by invitation only. We wish that everyone could be invited, but the ritual ‘container’ will primarily include his family and the Mara’akate of the Medicine Path that Waviekame (Eliot) has devoted so much of his life to supporting. These individuals will receive a separate private invitation for the evening, which will include a completion event after sunrise.
