Blue Deer Season Opening Volunteer Weekend

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, participants, and volunteers, Blue Deer will once again be offering shared experiences of healing, transformation, and learning in 2024!

Reconnect with the land, Saskawhihiwine, and fellow supporters & lovers of the Center. Bring your hearts, hands, and talents so together we can prepare the Center to welcome all who are called here to transform their lives.


Nestled in the Catskill Mountains on ninety three acres of land and forest, the Blue Deer Center is embraced by “Saskawhihiwine,” the river of peace. This land, known for millennia, as a place where conflict is resolved and illness gives way to health. Blessed things happen here that cannot happen even a short distance away, for this sacred place offers unique medicine that supports your healing.
