| The
Blue Deer Center is the first offspring of the Sacred Fire Community.
The purpose of the Sacred Fire Community is to rekindle our relationship
to each other and the world through the universal and sacred spirit
of Fire.
In a world grown cold, we are drawn to Fire for warmth, connection,
laughter and joy. Fire is the source of renewal for our soul. It
is an elemental force that connects us to nature, the Divine, and
the deep wisdom of our own hearts.
The Sacred Fire Community consists of people from many traditions
from all over the globe who value the spiritual nature of Fire as
a way to touch what is essential and eternal within us.
| Aside
from the Blue Deer Center, the Sacred Fire Community is involved
in a number of projects that promote the sacred experience of
Fire. Among them are: |
| • |

gatherings around monthly community fires. |
| • |

Programs–including initiation for young people,
