The Annual
Fireball 2008
|
The
Blue Deer Center put on a great Fireball last June. A wonderful
crowd was in attendance to eat an amazing selection of gourmet
food that was prepared by Maggie Starzyk and Forest Perrupato,
the Out of the Blue Chefs. The BDC thanks them and their kitchen
crew for a truly tremendous Southwestern inspired feast.
After the dinner, raffle, and the close of the silent auction,
Blue Paradox jammed into the night. The music culminated while
the band started playing “Light My Fire” as a bonfire
was lit. The Fire, reaching over 30 feet in height, was a welcoming
to the Center.
We went farther into the night with warmth, jokes, laughter
and guidance from our Tsaurirrikame, Eliot Cowan, around the
fire.
