SUN….ahhhhhh…..all
you easterners know exactly what I am talking about. I
remember when I used to take the sun for granted in LA!
Everything is waking up here. The grass is suddenly green,
the wildflowers are beginning to bloom, the irises and
peonies are peeking out of the ground, and the frogs in
the pond are serenading us nightly.

Plant
Spirit Medicine Conference 2008
Deepening our Roots:
Bringing Forth an Ancient Medicine in Modern
Times.
Blue Deer Center, May 25-29, 2008 |
The time has come again for our yearly gathering to nourish
ourselves, our practices, and the people we serve through
our own growth. The 4TH Annual Plant Spirit Medicine Conference,
brought to you by your Plant Spirit Medicine Association,
is a time to gather as a community of people, plant-lovers,
and practitioners, to grow together and share our hearts.
The conference theme this year is Deepening Our Roots: Bringing
Forth an Ancient Medicine in Modern Times. What does it take
to grow taller, branch out, bear more fruit, both personally
and professionally? Like our mentors the Plants, we need to
deepen our roots. As we reach downward to gain confidence
and stability, what can we find to nourish our growth? In
our modern world, we call on our Brothers and Sisters the
Plants.
For seasoned Plant Spirit Medicine practitioners, this year’s
conference is truly rich in its offerings as our elder practitioners
offer us the wisdom of their years of devotion to this medicine.
The conference is your opportunity to immerse yourself in
a community from all over the world, to sharpen your clinical
and practice-building skills, to meet with your newly formed
Plant Spirit Medicine Association, and to come away feeling
re-inspired by the medicine the Plants offer through us. The
conference offers a liveliness and diversity of experience
that embraces all of this medicine’s capacity. Walk
into our field of wildflowers, our forest of messengers, and
come pick your bouquet.
For students and those new to Plant Spirit Medicine, this
conference is a rare opportunity to follow your heart into
an even deeper connection with Nature. On the sacred land
of the Blue Deer Center, you will be embraced by a community
of healers devoted to the Plants, inspired and intrigued with
talks offered by healers from many walks of life, warmed by
community gatherings around the fire at night, and nourished
with some of the best cooking in the Catskills. Are you thinking
about studying Plant Spirit Medicine? Are you wondering what
more the Plants may have to share with you? They await your
request.
