Coming Together:

10 Fundamentals of a Brilliant Relationship (Postponed)

with Cristián Valenzuela  & Karen Aberle

Please check back soon for new dates for this retreat

On a scale of 1-10, 10 being brilliant, how would you rate your relationship? If you score less than 10, you probably haven’t been able to move from the euphoria of falling in love to the richness and comfort of being in love. Many relationships fail because of the inability to bring forth the fire of our connectedness and deal with the struggles, breakdowns, and conflicts inherent in all relationships. Coming Together presents some timeless practices and understandings that were common in ancient communities. This knowledge enables you to start working, refreshing, and finding new ways of approaching the next part of your life together.

Come and spend a long weekend learning practical ways to deepen and polish your partnership on the sacred land of the Blue Deer Center. Karen Aberle and Cristián Valenzuela, shamans initiated in the Huichol tradition (and a couple for over 20 years) share their hearts and their wisdom in an intimate, fire-filled space. This setting will provide a groundwork for

  • opening to the divine,
  • dancing with the Gods,
  • healing the wounds and withholdings that have created separation, and
  • gaining practice in expanding satisfaction for oneself as well as one’s partner.

Coming Together is an offering of the Sacred Fire Community Lifeways Program, programs that support ways of moving through the stages of life in harmony with ourselves, the community, and the rhythm of life itself. The sacred dance of partnership is one of the rites in the circle of life.
