Dan Sprinkles and the Saskawhihiwine Volunteer Gratitude.
Laugh. Play. Love. Serve. Grow.

The spirit of Iyari has blossomed in the past three months, providing each guest and Elder with a deeper sense of home, and giving rise for many others to explore the calling of the heart in the form of selfless service. By answering this call to service you have also helped the new Center Staff become more deeply connected to this community, to our hearts, and to our purpose in being here. You have made the Blue Deer Center home for us as well, in the midst of our own transitions and have taught us much about Iyari.

In three months, approximately 1345 hours on the land have been shared to support the mission, vision, and staff of the Blue Deer Center. This is equivalent to having two additional full time people on the land. These hours travel far beyond the boundaries of our land – they help to provide a clear picture of the value of our mission to Foundations who are interested in supporting us through grants. They also serve to better educate the staff as to what the needs of the Center are so that we can create a structure to operate more efficiently. Lastly, your time is helping us to create more opportunities to be on the Land, in a way that supports the call of Iyari.

Around The Night Fire For all of this we wish to extend our deepest gratitude to each of you. Truly, our home would not exist without your unconditional love and support. Nor could we support the flourishing program season this year without you.
