'Olohe Malu – Ancestral Teachings of Aloha by Lei'ohu Ryder |
|
Aloha is an energy that embraces all life. Aloha provides a knowing that authentically living each moment as Spirit creates joy, love and peace within and without. Aloha is seeing the Creator, the Breath of Spirit, the love and compassion in each one of us. It assists us by allowing us to be the heart, to live the heart, and to know that the heart is the compass that leads us.
The breath of the ancestors is alive in every one of us as we let go of the mind and move into the space of the heart. continued...

Water Rituals and Healing
“We have described water as the second element in the cosmological wheel, a key element that at the beginning cooled the raging fires and brought stability, reorienting the cosmic energy toward producing continuity and community. Since then, people all over the world have felt the need to return again and again to water for purification, cleansing, reconciling, and making peace in the face of the onslaught of life’s challenges. continued...

BDC Brochure

The Center has entered into a relationship with Aime & Steve McCrory of The Business Muse, a public relations firm that is helping us to spread the word about the Blue Deer Center. They’ve been busy generating buzz about our work in the world and the teachers who are offering their programs at the Center. We have added a press page to our new website that includes listings of upcoming radio shows along with archives of recent interviews with Eliot Cowan and other members of the BDC team.

Programs at the Blue Deer Center— by Keiko Cronin
|
 |
By the time you receive this e-Newsletter, we will have held the first of our "Wisdom Keeper" programs. This is a series of events designed to bring authentic elders to our land and local community. We have created a new format to keep the costs minimal, with the idea that anyone who is interested will be able to afford to attend.
Overall, our programs this year reflect our mission, in the rich variety of traditions presented. As the new Programs/Enrollment Director, I am very open to your input and ideas for the future.
Thank you so much,
Melissa Clare
